In order to use our developer toolkits, you are required to register your domain(s) or bundle ID(s) in an "app," which generates a unique developer key and developer secret.
Your developer key is used to associate any requests you make to our Viewer API, Content API, iOS SDK, or Android SDK with your user account. Anytime you try to load a model, our services check for both a valid developer key and a valid hosting domain to ensure the current domain or bundle ID has been authorized for your account.
Note: After your app has been created, your developer key will automatically be appended to any embed code or link that you publish from the BioDigital Human web app.
Your developer secret provides another layer of authentication for our Content API, which enables you to access models saved to My Library via server-to-server communication and can be used on the web and our Mobile SDKs. When you request an access token from our Content API, we require both a developer key and a developer secret to verify your identity.
To get started, see How to register an app.
To retrieve your developer key or developer secret once you have registered your app, see Where can I find my developer key and developer secret?
